Adhesives are almost as important as the material choice. We can specify a range of materials suited to the substrate that they will be applied to. 

Substrate Types

When ordering labels it is important to consider the substrate types. The most common substrate types are listed below:

• Bare Metal
• Solvent Base Finish
• Powder Coated Finish
• Wood
• Glass
• Plastic
• High/Low Temperature
• Chemically Sensitive Applications

Adhesive Transparency

Generally the whole of label of graphic overlay will be coated with an adhesive. However, adhesives at best only have 90% transparency which sometimes is not enough. Where window transparency needs to be maximised we can offer selective adhesive application around light areas and display units.
